Carlton's biggest win of the year in 4 consecutive seasons, 1976-79 was
against St Kilda. All winning margins were over 100 pts. In 1976 they
also lost to St Kilda by 38 pts (which was St Kilda's equal biggest win
for the year and Carlton's biggest loss) and in 1978 by 40 pts.
In 2009 St Kilda's 12 point losing margin in the Grand Final was
their lowest, highest losing margin for a season ever recorded.
Previously their lowest, highest losing margin for the year was 25
points in 1935.
